African immigrant stabs seven people, one fatally, in North Vancouver rampage.

Canadian government accused of censoring information about the perp

Seven people were stabbed in front of a public library in North Vancouver, British Columbia. One unnamed female in her twenties was killed.

The perpetrator is Yannick Bandaogo, a 28-year-old Black male from Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast, West Africa). Bandaogo has a past criminal record in Quebec. In October of 2018, he was sentenced to a total of eight months in prison for three different cases involving four separate assaults. He got one month for assaulting a police officer, four months for another assault, and three months for a pair of assaults. In 2019, he pleaded guilty to domestic violence. In September of 2020, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

So far we only have information on less than half of the victims. The Canadian government has yet to release information about the deceased, and they may have intentionally censored information about the perp.

The other victims include Sheloah Klausen, a White female. She is a local school teacher. She is expected to make a full recovery.

Susanne Till, another White female in her twenties, was seriously injured. Her family says she will require extensive rehabilitation. She is a mother of three young children.

Four other victims have not been identified.

Bandaogo began cutting himself when apprehended by police. The suspect had a Youtube channel. It was deleted, apparently at the request of the Canadian authorities. It is being alleged that when the Canadian government released the perp’s name, the Youtube account had already been taken down earlier in the day.

Justin Trudeau made a public statement about the attack, in which he avoided any mention of the perpetrator. Many media outlets are focusing attention on the knife instead of the perp.

if only there was someone innocent there with a firearm, he could have shot the man.
