Fauci’s Wuhan Lab middle man says researchers were conducting gain of function research on SARS-like potential “killers”

Wuhan lab leak was always the most obvious explanation

Peter Daszak is the president of the EcoHealth Alliance. He served as a middle man between Anthony Fauci and the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Fauci provided Daszak with about $600k in US taxpayer dollars from the National Institute of Health to fund research on SARS-like coronaviruses at the Chinese lab.

SARS-2, the virus that causes Covid-19, shares 90% of the same genetic material as SARS. It also contains back-to-back arginine proteins in its gene sequence. There is no documentation of this ever being observed in a naturally occurring coronavirus from the same family. However, “gain of function” research is centered around splicing genes to create a back-to-back protein like this.

He delivered a public statement Daszak in 2016. He says that Wuhan Lab was extracting coronaviruses from bats to isolate strains from the same family as SARS. Then they were experimenting on the strains to determine which one had the potential to become “killers.”

In February of 2020, Daszak made a public statement falsely claiming there was no chance that SARS2 escaped from the lab. Daszak was part of a group of Western researchers who defended their Chinese colleagues and callously denounced those who suggested a lab leak as “conspiracy theorists” fueling anti-Asian prejudice.

Daszak’s public statement in 2016 clearly shows that he would have known SARS-2 fit the profile of a virus that the lab would be experimenting on.
