French government moves to ban world famous conservative activist group Generation Identitaire

Conservative activism is under attack in Europe as well as America

The French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin, a member of Emanuel Macron’s La République En Marche!, has officially begun the process of banning one of the most well-known conservative activist groups in Europe.

Generation Identitaire is part of the French “Identitarian” movement, which advocates the preservation of one’s unique culture and heritage while rejecting totalitarian ideologies. Generation Identitaire has inspired copycat groups in other European nations, most notably in Austria and Denmark.

Ironically, Darmanin has been under attack for being too far to the right. He opposes gay marriage and the Islamization of France. It seems like Darmanin is trying to prove himself to the rest of the French establishment.

Generation Idnetitaire is trying to mobilize people for a protest march in Paris this Saturday, February 20th.
