Mexican president denounces “Big Pharma” for pushing Covid-19 vaccines on children

Says Mexico will not be held hostage by billionaire pharma executives

Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the President of Mexico, denounced the idea that children need a Covid-19 vaccine. He accused pharmaceutical executives of pushing unnecessary vaccines for children and excessive extra doses for selfish profit-driven reasons.

Hugo López-Gatell Ramírez, the Deputy Secretary of Health and Prevention, also stated that there is no scientific basis for giving Covid-19 vaccines to children. The Mexican government says there are no plans to buy extra doses for children at this time.

Many pharmaceutical executes have seen their wealth explode because of the vaccines. At least nine new Billionaires have been created. The CEOs of Moderna and BionTech have been transformed into multi-Billionaires. It is estimated that the vaccines will generate over $100 Billion in revenue for 2021 and produce record-breaking profits for a host of pharmaceutical companies.

Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel saw his 9% stake in the company go from $225 million in early 2020, to a staggering $12.78 billion today. However, for Moderna to remain at such a high market cap, they need people to keep buying more of their vaccines.

The Pharmaceutical industry is the single advertiser on American cable news.

“Mexico will not be held hostage by pharmaceutical companies that only want to do business and scare children with the idea that it is necessary to vaccinate against Covid-19.” – President Andres Manuel López Obrador
