The Portland Apple Store is the last Apple Store in North America to re-open post-lockdown. The only exception appears to be two stores in Minneapolis that only offer curbside pickup due to fears of renewed Black Lives Matter [BLM] rioting.
Most Apple stores in America & Canada have been open or partially open since last July and many since last May.
The Portland Apple Store was famously looted by BLM “protesters” on May 30th. It was one of at least sixteen Apple Stores looted during BLM protests between May 30th and June 1st.
BLM & Antifa also looted Apple stores in Bellevue, Brooklyn, Charleston, Chicago, Hollywood, Minneapolis, Naperville, Philadelphia, Providence, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Scottsdale, Washington DC, and two different stores in Los Angeles.
As Portland continues to experience weekly rioting, Apple Inc has kept the store closed. While it re-opened Saturday, March 13th, a huge barrier protects the store. Only a limited number of customers are allowed inside at a time, and there are numerous security guards.
