Seattle bus riders union endorses candidate who once threatened to suicide bomb a Seattle school bus full of children

This is a thing that actually happened!

This is not satire.

In 2010, Somali immigrant Ubax Gardheere boarded a Seattle school bus full of Middle School-aged children. She berated the children and the bus driver over US foreign policy and threatened to murder them. She suggested that she had a bomb under her clothes. As children fled, she called them “cowards” and continued making death threats against the remaining children. For this, she was convicted of a misdemeanor! Now she is running for County Council.

Washington State Senator Rebecca Saldaña, and former Seattle City Councilman Mike O’Brien have endorsed Ubax Gardheere for County Council, despite the woman’s history of threatening children with murder. Seattle pays her $130k work in the Department of City Planning and Development as manager of “equitable development.” She uses her position to complain about White people publicly. Essentially, she is getting wealthy off local tax dollars to be a full-time professional activist. In fact, Gardheere publicly describes herself as such. She calls herself a “bureactvist.”

If all of this was not crazy enough, the Seattle Transit Union has endorsed her candidacy.

Yes, a union for the people who regularly use Seattle public buses has endorsed a woman who once boarded a public school bus and threatened to suicide bomb the children.
